What is an Honoree?
All teams are assigned Honorees, local individuals personally affected by a blood-related cancer, in honor of whom you train and raise funds. Your Honorees become your inspiration as you work towards goals that will benefit both of your lives. You will meet your Honorees and his or her family at team trainings, socials and/or other events throughout the season. We provide you with a wristband to wear with one of your Honorees' names on it -- to remind you of the important cause for which you are training and fundraising.
